A major fire broke out in pre-dawn hours of June 1st at Universal Studios Hollywood. The fire, accidentally started by workers using blowtorches on a roof, was contained to the lower lot. The fire devastated a nearly two block area that included the King Kong attraction which you ride through on the tram tour, the Courthouse Square area which was featured in Back to the Future movies and the New York street sets which have appeared in dozens of movies, TV shows, and commercials.

Come Back Later The Internet Is Full

AT&T is bringing down my Internet buzz. Vice president of legislative affairs, Jim Cicconi, recently spoke to the web 2.0 forum in London and warned that without significant world wide investment, the Internet would reach the limits of its capacity by 2010. The offering gives the customer a wireless router for a one time charge of $50 and a monthly fee of just $10 per month for unlimited nationwide calling over the WiFi internet connection.

iPhone 3G Outdated On Arrival

The hype leading up to Apple's launch of the 3G iPhone was huge. However, only a small portion of the total iPhone users will be able to take advantage of AT&T's 3G speeds in the areas they live and work. 3G just isn't available everywhere yet. And it isn't as fast as users may want.

Apple has clearly held back on features that consumers want, because the 3G network that it will run on just isn't robust enough to support high bandwidth applications.
