It's tough being a guy. Traditionally speaking, it's still incumbent on the guy to make the first move and ask a girl out on a date. Thankfully, more and more, girls are taking the initiative. The trouble is, it's like getting picked for teams in grade school. You never know when your name will be called. Therefore, guys must take charge of their own love life.

It's funny that as humans evolve, things get back to the basics. This is especially true in the environment front. We have learned that if we want a hospitable planet for our children's future, we must protect the Earth now.

Every grade school child knows the importance of reuse, reduce, and recycle; what better way to help the planet and learn about biology than with composting right in your own backyard garden? It also saves you money as you won't have to worry about buying commercial fertilizer.

One of the most said phrases is "Keep it Simple, Stupid". It applies to all aspects of life. And even though everyone knows about the K.I.S.S. principle, they don't follow it. In a lot of ways, it must seem as though we're living in unfamiliar territory as well. America is adjusting as a superpower in a new economic environment.

As it is often the case, when one has experienced a cruise vacation, it then becomes a way of life and the preferred way to vacation. I think it speaks volumes that so many people have taken more than one cruise. If you ask a first time cruise vacationer if he'd do it again, the answer is always an affirmative!

So why are cruises such a big hit?

I think of cruises as floating hotels that move from place to place leaving you with not a care in the world.

Or perhaps it was Zeus himself who created the Olympic Games after he defeated his father Cronus to become the King of Gods.

You are living the dream life. You have a beautiful home with the white picket fence, a perfect partner and the two point five kids. However, something just doesn't seem right and you don't know what it is. You have a nagging feeling in the back of your head and you're struggling with the possibility of installing a video surveillance camera. Should you do it? The Olympic Games are a time of celebration for incredible physical accomplishments. However, when a country hero wins a medal, we often wait with baited breath that the tests for performance enhancing drugs come back clean. Have we really become that jaded? It is no wonder that digital photography has caught on in popularity. You can instantly review the pictures you took and delete the bad photos. In the old days, you would be wasting money developing pictures that turned out bad because you didn't know it. This is no longer the case these days as there's no film to develop. Sure you can go to your local picture developing shop and print off photos from the memory card but why would you? Instead of printing off a few copies of the same photo to send to family members, you can now just email them the photo instead.
