What Is Success Anyway?

Success is creating what you want the way you want it to be.

It is, in fact, a journey. And, like all journeys, your ship will sail through calm waters and buck in storms. If you stay on course, continually upgrading your navigational instruments and adjusting to feedback, you will reach your port of dreams.

Everyone has had the experience of shipwreck.

Our Beliefs Define Our Limits

The universe is vast, it's dimensions inconceivable, it's potentialities unimaginable, and we know too that our own consciousness has depths to it that are virtually infinite, and yet despite this enormity within and without, we choose to confine ourselves to beliefs in scarce resources.

These beliefs, like all our beliefs, are not true, yet, because of the earnestness of our conviction and our genius in adumbrating the numerous aspects of our impoverishment, we take our beliefs to be true.
When I was in graduate school for psychology, we had a fellow student by the name of Allan who was running a successful clinical practice and had joined our program to improve his credentials. He had a remarkable track record of successful case histories.

One day, in a casual conversation during a classroom break, Cindy, a student, asked him what the single biggest reason people did not improve after counseling.
Our innate desire is to be happy, and when we move away from it, we experience fear.

This fear is actually millions of years old, for it arises from the biological programming of our species.

While we may not have to contend with a sabre-toothed tiger on any given day, we still use those very reactions to deal with events looming ahead.
I'd like you to do an exercise with me.

I want you to use your imagination to construct a dream theater.

Begin by visiting your living room in your mind's eye.

Now this is not the living room you now believe in and have created in actuality, but this is your living room in the future.

Notice how everything is different.

How Anyone Can Manifest Anything!

My mother taught me how to teach others about the power of the mind. By learning how to teach her, I learned how to communicate essential wealth-building ideas to others.

Many years ago, she worked as an employee in an insurance company. Her low salary pinned her to a fixed income. Trapped in her cubicle, she held little hope for change.
Making money is easy when you move to cause rather than living
out effects.

Let me draw a simple analogy to clarify my point.

Imagine standing before a huge waterfall. You're thirsty and
the water is fresh, clean, and pure. You can take as much as you
like.

How much can you take home with you?

It all depends on the size of your container.

What Will It Cost You?

What will it cost you if you don't do it?

Everyone has a secret dream that they nourish in their hearts.

Yet many of these dreams never emerge beyond mere wishful thinking.

I'd like to challenge you to consider what will happen if you don't unwrap your dream and let it fly free in the world.

Perhaps you're afraid, or comfortably numb, or confused about how to make your dream come true.

The World According To Max The Cat

Max jumped on my chest as soon as the first rays of sunlight streamed through the blinds.

"Are you awake?" he asked, licking his paw with infinite fastidiousness.

"I am now," I said. "Hey, did you just say something?"

"No, I just thought something."

"You mean we're in telepathic contact?" I asked, not sure whether I was still asleep.
Everything exists twice. First, in your mind. Later, before you in three-dimensional space.

In your mind, then, create a perfect room. See yourself sitting in the middle of it, buried deep in the folds of a huge, comfortable chair that feels as soft as a cloud. See a smile of contentment float across your face.

Closing your eyes as you sit or snuggle in your favorite chair and begin to invent the rest of the room.
