Statistics also show nearly one third of American women report being exposed to some type of abuse at the hands of the significant other in their committed relationships.

In reality, one out of every three is a conservative figure, since the majority of abuse is never reported. These harsh statistics tell us that men (and women) are abusing the very people they say they love, which makes no rational or relational sense at all.
Huh??!! Let me explain...

A barometer is used to measure atmospheric pressure. This pressure change helps weather forecasters to predict what weather conditions might be forthcoming. Barometric conditions are always changing; therefore barometric measurement is always fluctuating.

A compass, on the other hand, is used to determine direction.
Your personal integrity is dependent on you living according to your values. If you commit yourself to a values-driven life, you'll attract people of similar values and people who'll support and encourage you to continue to live accordingly, which will only increase the standards to which you have been living.

Ignore your values and you'll attract other people who ignore their values, which usually results in a swirling cesspool of complaints, excuses and endless victimhood (not a good neighborhood to live in!!)

With a well understood values base you'll more clearly discern your day-to-day priorities.
The most important thing about the most important thing is to keep the most important thing the most important thing.

I hope by now you are beginning to realize the importance of knowing what you want in your life, and you're beginning to take the steps to figure it all out. But how do you decide when to do what and for how long?

You can start by creating a values and priorities oriented life.
When making changes in your life, if you feel uncomfortable, insecure, vulnerable, or weird, know you are probably right on target.

Why? Because to achieve anything new you have to create fresh strategies, approaches, and systems. Most anything new will feel strange until you get used to it.

So, live the Attr-Action model of life. Remember, there is no Attr-Action without the right corresponding action.

F.E.A.R.-Yes, or F.E.A.R.-Less

What do you fear, and how real are your fears? The most common fears I see and hear from clients (and others!!) include the fear of rejection, the fear of failure, the fear of change and - believe it or not - the fear of success.

As real as these fears may seem, most of them are only imaginary (not real) and totally made-up (fantasy). I like to refer to these made-up scenarios as stories.

Abundant or Redundant: Where do You Live?

Abundance...this word has become quite popular these days as one of the latest "metaphysical buzzwords". "Creating abundance", "manifesting abundance", and "living the abundant life" are just a few of the abundance of abundant cliches these days.

All of these sayings are trying to convince us that this abundant Life is just out there waiting for us to step into it.
This is about the law of gravity inverted...sorta. Nature always strives to create balance, which is otherwise known as homeostasis. Examples would include day and night; high tide and low tide; summer and winter; and, of course, up and down.

Gravity, however, seems to create a skewed dimension because it pulls everything down. In day-to-day life terms, especially from an emotional perspective, the "down" energy can seem as powerful as gravity, and henceforth, very challenging.
Live according to your purpose, and you'll discover a natural passion for life; and within that, you'll feel a great deal of personal power. If you want to feel totally empowered, learn who you are and be 100% of you 100% of the time!

You may need to do some soul-searching and uncovering in order to discover your true self and determine your bigger connection in life.

The Roots and Fruits Philosophy of Life

One of the biggest barriers to living fully in your spirituality and in your life is an ever-so-deeply-conditioned, limiting, and self-defeating belief system. This is the core and the root of self-destructive behavior, sub-satisfactory results and negative thinking.

Over the years of working with thousands of individuals, I've noticed there are a few primary beliefs, more prominent than others, which create the most havoc and often set people up to settle for less than they deserve or are capable of.
